In honor of Roger Kahn for his work in aviation and entertainment, the Institute of the Aeronautical Sciences will be awarding four $10,000 scholarships to high school seniors who will enroll in an engineering major to pursue a career in aerospace. The scholarship includes a trip to the AIAA Awards Gala and a mentor in AIAA to help guide the student to achieve a career in aerospace. In order to be eligible, members should have a minimum high school GPA of 3.5 and have demonstrated interest in aerospace through extracurricular activities. Regeneron STS is the nation's oldest and most prestigious science research competition for high school students. Each year, around 2,000 students enter, submitting original research in critically important scientific fields. Unique among high school competitions, Regeneron STS focuses on identifying, inspiring, and engaging the nation's most promising future leaders in STEM.

Each year, scholarship recipients are selected based on their demonstration of the four pillars of NHS: Scholarship, Service, Leadership, and Character. Top 25 scholarship finalists receive an all-expense paid trip to DC.

Requires an essay of at least 500 words detailing the student's most common distracted driving habits and concrete steps they will take to eliminate them.

The goal of Project Bridge is to instill a sense of understanding and respect to bridge the gap between cultures. Students attend bi-weekly workshops on leadership, intercultural understanding, Korea's culture/history/language/economy, and the 1992 LA Riots. The highlight is a fully subsidized ten-day study tour in South Korea.

Designed to assist students planning to pursue a career in the healthcare industry. Students must have a demonstrated interest in pursuing a clinical (e.g., pharmacist, physician, nurse) or non-clinical (e.g., accounting, business administration, marketing, public policy) career in healthcare. Selected students will receive a $2,500 award.
This scholarship is meant for high school seniors who are committed to pursuing the language teaching profession in languages other than English.
